What if I feel there is too much moisture getting to my floor?

We have specialized equipment that can help us determine the moisture content of your concrete foundation. Most manufacturers will recommend around five pounds of moisture – however, if your floor does have an excess of moisture, there are multiple products available that can help seal your concrete. We can also assist in finding the source of the excess moisture, which will be necessary in preventing any future issues.

Do you always replace my base board, or is it possible to install ¼ round in order to my new floor to have no gaps?

If you have existing base with a flat surface to attach ¼ round – and it complements the base profile, then ¼ is certainly an option to run ¼ round. If you have older or damaged base boards, we recommend installing new ones.

For all laminate and wood flooring we highly recommend using transitions. This will keep your new flooring tightly affixed to the wall, preventing it from expanding and contracting over time.
